I recently took a trip to King of Prussia Mall with my mom and we were lured into William Sonoma. I usually wouldn’t even go into this store because it is pretty expensive, but the scent of fresh baked goods was wafting into the mall and we couldn’t resist! We learned that the store has a variety of classes such as technique classes, cooking classes and product demonstrations. (Lucky for us we walked by during the middle of a specialty bundt cake pan demonstration!) I hope to sign up for some of these classes soon. I figure it can never hurt to learn something new!
The highlight of this trip came about a week later when I made these delicious muffins out of William Sonoma’s Spiced Pecan Pumpkin Quick Bread Mix I had bought in the store. The package was a bit expensive, but my love for pumpkin won over the cost. All you had to do was add water, butter and eggs to the mix and bake! These muffins were absolutely amazing, they had a great pumpkin flavor with a mix of pecans and spice. They were also really moist with a little crispiness on the edges.
After trying this delicious bread I was sold on William Sonoma’s mixes. I look forward to heading back soon and hope to try out some of the other seasonal quick breads the store has to offer!
