Lifestyle Change Revisited

The beginning of April marks 12 weeks until our wedding!  It also means that this is the beginning of crunch time to lose a few extra pounds gained during the holiday season.

Since we started our lifestyle change in August of 2010, we have hit many milestones and made a huge difference in our health!  As we have reached goals we have relaxed our diet and exercise plans which was working out well, but the holidays lead to some very unwanted weight gain!

Starting the beginning of April, I am going to start logging all of my food and exercise on MyFitnessPal.  I am also attempting to move a away from eating any processed foods. We don’t eat a lot of processed food to begin with, but I would like to make that almost non-existent.

In addition to logging all of my food, I am going to up my workout plan from the normal 3 days a week at the gym and add an additional 2 days of at-home Pilates with videos provided by Cassey at Blogilates.  For the last two months I have been trying to include at least 1 Pilates workout into my weekly routine and I feel like it has made a real difference already! I think adding 2 more workouts will be great!

So here we go! This is going to take a lot of dedication on my part because I am not a fan of working out or cutting things like delicious breads and sugary sweets out!
