2011 Fall Wedding Tour

2011 Fall Wedding Tour

This fall has been extremely busy. We have been away almost every weekend attending a different wedding! I guess we are at that age where everyone around us is getting married…

Of the four wedding we have attended in a one month time span Brad has been best man at two of them which has made our schedule even crazier! He did a great job with both of his speeches and I’m pretty sure he has kept the brides calm throughout their wedding weekends.

Brad Williams, Best Man

The first wedding we went to was for Brad’s long time friend, Jeff, and held in the country in Indiana. The ceremony and reception were held under a huge tent in a field with a pretty pond next to it. There was a little bit of drama because a huge storm came rolling through at the beginning of the night, but everything worked out!

Jeff & Lyndsey's Wedding

The second was on the beach in Belmar, New Jersey. This was the wedding of Brad’s business partner, Brian. The ceremony took place on the beach and the reception was held at Matisse. They had booked a great band to play at the reception and they really did a great job keeping everyone on the dance floor all night.

Brian & Robin's Wedding

The third wedding was for Brad’s employee, Scott held in Long Branch New Jersey. Scott’s fiance is from Norway and she wanted to have a traditional American wedding (which is much larger than what is normally done in Norway). They had the ceremony at a small church with the BIGGEST wedding party I’ve ever seen! The reception was held at Sirena at Pier Village where we enjoyed some amazing food and experienced the Norwegian tradition of  what felt like EVERYONE at the wedding giving a toast to the couple.

Scott & Renate's Wedding

The last wedding was in the Poconos for my cousin Jessica. This was a huge event held at the Moutn Airy Resort and Casino. Jessica had been saving up for years now to have the huge, fancy wedding she has always dreamed of.  They actually had two ceremonies with the first held as a religious ceremony in a church and the second a small ceremony held outside in a gazebo at Mount Airy just before the reception.

David & Jessie's Wedding

Each wedding was lovely and very special in its own way. It has definitely given me some things to think about for our upcoming big day!
