Work it! 2 Month Update

As of this Monday, Brad and will have completed 2 months of our “lifestyle change” of eating healthier and going to the gym! All though I kick and scream almost every day that we head to the gym, it has been a very effective 2 months.  Up to this point I have lost 8 lbs. and Brad has lost 15 lbs.!

Along with going to the gym we have been taking advantage of the beautiful Valley Forge National Historical Park that is about 10 minutes away from our house.  There are a number of various trails for walking, biking, hiking and more.  It is a beautiful park with tons of Revolutionary War era artifacts and deer everywhere.  We have even taken the woofies with us on a few occasions.  Lecter was very excited to meet some new deer friends!

One of the most significant effects I have noticed since we have started working out regularly is an increase in energy.  Last May, I was diagnosed with Lyme Disease and have dealt with fatigue issues ever since then.  Working out has significantly increased my energy and most days I feel as I did in my pre-Lyme days.  It really is a great feeling!

I’m including a cute little before & after shot in this post.  It’s not the best two pictures to compare, but I think you can really see a difference!
